Bio and Resume

Nina Caussa is originally from Barcelona, Spain. She started her career in Production Design for film collaborating with some of the most recognized young Spanish directors, including J.A. Bayona and Jaume Balagueró.  Thanks to a full scholarship from La Caixa for graduate studies in the United States, she was able to foster her education and open her artistic practice to theater, live performance and digital media. Among her most recent work as a designer are the feature films Money, A Gulag Mouse and the immersive theatrical experience The Day Shall Declare It. Nina also develops work as a generative artist, most recently through co-founding the art group Like Us, which creates online performances using social media. Nina Caussa received her BFA in film from Universitat de Barcelona – ESCAC and her double MFA in Theater and Integrated Media from California Institute of the Arts.
